Autism Assistance Dogs Offer Independence, Safety
Eight-year-old Kameron Liebzeit, a Shelby Township, Michigan resident, has a very special opportunity. He has been approved for an autism service dog from 4 Paws For Ability.
4 Paws For Ability, a nonprofit organization located in Xenia, Ohio, trains and places service dogs for persons with various disabilities. Their most requested and most often placed type of service dog is the autism assistance dog, which can help autistic children and their families in surprising ways.
4 Paws For Ability is one of the few organizations that will even place a service dog with a child. It will cost them $22,000 to train and place a service dog with Kameron and they have a unique program which allows the family to partner with them to raise funds for 4 Paws For Ability in support of their mission to help them place dogs without the long waiting list other agencies have. We are committed to raising $13,000 for 4 Paws in order to receive our special dog.
Kameron is very excited for his forever friend to come home. A big THANKS to everyone who is helping us reach our goal! Check out our links above to learn more about Kameron and this great program...
